These Terms of Use govern your use of hajzi.me and the Hajzi app (the "Service"), provided by Hajzi ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. What Hajzi is

Hajzi is a platform that lets guests discover restaurants in Damascus and book a table, and lets restaurant owners manage reservations, their menu, and their page. Hajzi does not process payments or issue bills on your behalf - you pay the restaurant directly when you visit.

2. Reservations

  • Booking on Hajzi is free and never requires a payment card.
  • Every booking is a request: some restaurants confirm instantly, others are confirmed by the Hajzi team after checking availability with the restaurant.
  • You can cancel or change your reservation any time before it, from your Account page, with no cancellation fee.
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give when booking (name, phone number), and for showing up or cancelling if you can no longer make it.
  • Hajzi may cancel a booking that appears abusive or fraudulent.

3. Accounts

You can book as a guest without an account. If you create one, you're responsible for the accuracy of your information and for keeping your login details confidential. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Restaurant pages and content

  • Some restaurant pages on Hajzi are directory listings gathered from public sources and not yet claimed by their owner; these are marked "unverified" and may have incomplete or outdated information.
  • If you're a restaurant owner and send us photos, a menu, or other details for your page, you confirm you have the right to share them with us and to have them shown on Hajzi.
  • You keep ownership of content you submit; you grant Hajzi a license to display it on the platform as needed to operate the Service.

5. Your conduct

You may not use the Service to submit fake or abusive reservations, impersonate a restaurant you don't own or manage, or attempt unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.

6. Disclaimer

Hajzi facilitates the booking process and does not control the food, service, or pricing at any restaurant. Directory-sourced information (the "unverified" pages) is provided as-is with no guarantee of accuracy. We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Hajzi is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the Service or a visit to a restaurant booked through it.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the new terms.
